One-to-one yoga
Traditionally,
yoga is taught one-to-one. The practice is tailored to suit
the student’s needs, goals, and
abilities, and is modified as
the student progresses.
Private sessions enable you to get the most from your
yoga. Whether you are new to yoga or a continuing student
wishing to deepen your practice, the individualized attention
accelerates the learning process and helps to prevent injuries
while learning new poses.
During a private session, Marly will develop a personal
practice for you to do at home, with specific postures and
sequences to address your needs. She has helped students
to:
- Reduce or eliminate back pain
- Rehabilitate from injuries
- Improve energy level
- Lose weight
- Supplement athletic training
in competitive
sports
- Breathe
more freely
Another prevalent need is to fit yoga practice into an
overcrowded schedule. A weekly private session may be your

Private group sessions
Marly
also offers private group engagements – either
on an ongoing or one-time-event
basis. She works with groups of kids
and teens after school, and with groups of adults
who look forward to a once-a-week
yoga and social gathering,
